The theme for today’s novena is HOPE IN GOD’S PROVIDENCE AND TIMING

The Story of Esther (Book of Esther)
Reading: Esther Chp 9 vs 1
The thirteenth day of Adar came, the day on which the royal proclamation was to take effect, the day when the enemies of the Jews were hoping to get them in their power. But instead the Jews triumphed over them.
Reflection: The book of Esther teaches us that even when God seems absent or silent, he is actively working behind the scenes. Esther’s seemingly random ascent to queen, was God’s providential design for that moment in history. The reversal of fortune on the very day Haman had planned the Jews destruction, highlights God’s perfect timing. What appeared to be a moment of impending doom was transformed into a day of victory and celebration. Our hope lies in trusting his sovereignty and believing that he has a purpose and a perfect timing for everything. Like Esther we may find ourselves in challenging circumstances, but we can take courage knowing that we might be exactly where we are as per God’s plans.
Let us act with courage and have faith in God’s timing, and ask the Holy Spirit to show us how God has timed each event in our life to ensure our happiness and success.
