The theme for today’s novena is HOPE IN DELIVERANCE

Reading: Exodus Chp 14 vs 13-14
Moses answered,” Don’t be afraid! Stand your ground and you will see what the Lord will do to save you today. You will never see these Egyptians again. The Lord will fight for you and there is no need for you to do anything”.
Reflection: Hopingin God’s deliverance wasn’t about the Israelites having a detailed plan or knowing how God would act. It was about trusting in God’s promise, standing firm in the face of fear and witnessing God’s action. It wasn’t the strength or ingenuity of the Israelites that saved them, but God’s intervention. Exodus of the Israelites isn’t just a great story, it’s a reminder that hope in God’s deliverance often means trusting even when the odds look utterly impossible. It’s about believing that God can make a way where there seems to be no way, and that our part is to stand firm in faith and watch him work.
Let us always trust God in difficult and impossible situations and pray to the Holy Spirit to liberate us from habits or obsessions like ambition, social media, sex, alcohol, temper, ego, a person or whatever we give more importance to than God.
