The theme for today’s novena is HOPE IN GOD’S GOODNESS AND CREATION

The Creation of the World (Genesis 1-2)
The book of Genesis opens with a powerful statement: “ In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth”. This foundational verse sets the stage for understanding God’s role as the ultimate Creator and the goodness he has instilled in his creation. That very act, that divine intention and power on display right at the beginning, plants a seed of hope. We see God’s meticulous care in forming all life on earth especially humanity, breathing life into us, and planting us in his abundant garden. It reveals God as a good and purposeful creator. The intimate connection between the Creator and creation, especially humanity, fuels the hope that we are seen, valued and part of something good.
Let us appreciate God’s creation and purpose and pray to the Holy Spirit to help us see why God made us.
