Around 65 Kindergarden students from JBCN International School, Parel visited our village on the morning of 18th November 2014 alongwith their teachers. They were taken around our village and shown the various houses, the village well and our Holy Cross Oratory. Each child was given a sheet of paper with stickers of the various sights of our Village and they had to identify the same on reaching that place. After their tour around the village they were brought to the residence of Hansel Baptista. They were then treated to some snacks – Cheese Sandwiches, Cakes and Frooti. As part of their activity, they then had to stick the stickers provided to them in Scrap Books provided by Travel Logs that were handed over to each child. They also were taught and sang a song on Matharpacady, besides being shown a video on a traditional East Indian Wedding celebration. The children returned back to school energised and excited after this outing.
