The Matharpacady Residents Welfare Association organised a Family Get Together for all the resident families of our village on Saturday, 7th February ’15 at the St. Isabel’s High School, Welfare Centre. Around 90 residents attended this function. Mr Merwyn D’Mello and Mr Julius Valladares compered this function. The residents were treated to some entertaining group games as well as dancing. Mr Martin Cardozo welcome the residents with an opening prayer while Mrs Tessie Pereira led the gathering for the “Grace Before Meal”. Besides some mouth watering snacks served at the begining of the function, there was a well laid out buffet dinner for all. Dr. G Mascarenhas proposed a vote of thanks. The President, Mr Percy D’Souza also thanked the residents for responding in such large numbers and hoped that we all continue to be united as one large community.
