Around 30 students from the overseas exchange programme of Dhirubhai Ambani International school visited Matharpacady on Wednesday, 22nd October ’14. The students were from Spain, the Czech Republic, & England. Hansel Baptista took them around the village giving them an insight into the history of our village.
They were later treated to tea, cakes & some cookies. They were then taken to see Churchgate to be followed by a visit to Elephanta Caves. They were all impresed that such a quiet, quaint place existed in the crowded city of Mumbai. This heritage walk was organised by Travel-Logs.
