Earlier this bright, sunny, Sunday morning a group of people led by Rafique Baghdadi & Sancia Sequeira took a guided walk through Matharpacady Village. Mr Julius Valladares gave them a brief history of the village especially the signifance of The Holy Cross Oratory. They were taken around the village by Julius Valladares and David Baptista as well as their tour guides. Besides people from in and around Mumbai, they were some foreigners from the French consulate and a couple of them from Holland, Germany and other countries. They were surprised that such a tranquil, picturesque place still exists in the heart of the bustling, noisy city of Mumbai.
